Ever heard of a butter chicken costing Rs. 6000 for a portion for two. Suprised, yes I was too,but it is for real. Mr I.B.Saxena and Ms. Padma Prasad have been selling their brand of Butter Chicken “Anaarkali” for this amount of money. They are currently delivering it in Hyderabad but plan to have their outlets open in Delhi and Mumbai soon.

So, what it so special in this exorbitantly charged butter chicken. Well the makers say that the dish is prepared with the secret recipe that has been perfected for over 8 years using only the very best ingredients from India and the world over. If you are wondering what ingrediants would they put in this dish, they have listed that on their website. A closer examination and you would’nt find them too exotic. Godrej Real Good Chicken,Lurpark Unsalted Butter, Evian Natural Spring Water, Hunt’s Tomato Paste, Filippo Berio Olive Oil,Dabur Real Honey and TajMahal Saffron are few of the ingredients used in the preparation.

Now everyone who hears the price of this dish will have a query about how exactly the Anaarkali Butter Chicken ends up costing Rs6000/-? To address all those queries, the the breakup cost of each component that goes into the Anaarkali Butter Chicken including the profit of the owners is listed on the website. The Net margin on every portion sold is Rs 1,736.72.

Downloading music from the internet is illegal but the most searched term on the internet ( ok ok ok .. after that three letter word) is “free download songs”. Mp3′s are popular with the advent of the ipods and other music players and nobody is purchasing music nowdays.

The Microsoft New Version of Windows, Windows 7 is now released in the market. This post is for those who wish to try Windows 7 before purchasing it for their home or office computer.

Windows 7 Enterprise version is available for download at microsoft technet website. This is a trial version of windows which will expire after 90 days.

The download is about 2.25GB.

I have downloaded it and have installed in on my personal computer. This new version of Windows installed just in 15 mins on my new computer. The interface is great and the speed is much faster than Vista. One important feature is that the start up and the shut down time of Windows 7 has considerably removed.

How to play subtitles(.srt) in VLC player.

Whenever we download a movie from the internet, along with the video file (.avi or other formats) a subtitles files (.srt) file is also downloaded. This .srt file is the subtitles file which can be in the English or any other language and is there to play along with the video file. But most of us do not know what to do with that .srt file i.e. how to play the subtitles along with the video file.

Here’s how it can be played in the VLC player, which is one of the common player.

1. Open the VLC player and then go to File–>Open File…

2. A Open File window opens up. In that window, use the Browse button to choose the video file (.avi,etc)

3. Below that there is a check box “Use a subtitles file”, check that and use the Browse button to select the Subtitles file (.srt) to play along with the video.

4. Click on ok and enjoy the movie along with the subtitles.
